DragonScales is a non-audition community choir that began in 2009 as a paddlers' singing group. Little by little, friends and family of paddlers have been joining us.

We sing a wide variety of music, including show tunes, jazz, pop, madrigals, barbershop, holiday music and choral classics. We have sung extensive 4-part harmonies and simpler 2-part harmonies. We are all amazed at how well we work together and learn so quickly. DragonScales has performed at several dragon boating functions, assisted living communities, hospitals and parties, especially over the holidays.

The word of each rehearsal is "FUN!" because that's the best part of DragonScales. Members bring goodies each week, so no one goes hungry, and there is no lack of laughter. DragonScales is open to anyone who likes to sing, paddler or non-paddler, and there are no auditions required. Everyone who steps through the door to sing with us is warmly welcomed and ushered right into our family of warblers.
